Pocono Family YMCA Piranhas Competitive Swim Team
The Pocono Family YMCA Piranhas is a year-round competitive swim team of over 110 swimmers for athletes committed to training, competition, and continued improvement. The Piranhas compete in the Penn Del League during the winter and participate in USA Swimming meets and championship competitions throughout the spring and summer.
Program Requirements:
- 12-Month Commitment: Year-round participation is expected.
- YMCA Membership: A current YMCA membership in good standing is required throughout participation.
- Monthly Fees: Program fees are paid monthly.
- USA Swimming: Membership is strongly recommended.
- Meet Attendance: Swimmers must attend all League Meets, Championships, Districts, States, and PFY-hosted Invitational Meets.
- Team Eligibility: Swimmers must successfully complete a Try-Out or be recommended by a Stroke Clinic coach.
- Codes of Conduct: All swimmers, parents, and coaches must follow the Team Codes of Conduct.
- Required Equipment: Swimmers must have all required practice equipment. Visit the PFY Team Store for the equipment list.
8 & Under - Monthly Price – $95.00, plus a yearly $50 registration fee
