2020-21: Received two medals in Atlantic 10 Championships for the third-consecutive season... placed second in 200-fly at 1:45.23, a personal best time... added bronze medal in 400-IM with time of 3:53.63... also a finalist in the 200-IM, just missing the podium with fourth-place finish at 1:47.38... has been finalist in 200-fly, 400-IM, and 200-IM in all three years at La Salle. 

 

2019-20: Brought home a pair of silver medals at the 2020 A-10 Championships, the second-straight year with two podium finishes to begin his career... took second in the 200-fly at 1:45.93... added s second-place finish in the 400-IM, clocking in at 3:51.07... also a finalist in the 200-IM, taking sixth place... helped La Salle to five dual victories during season, including a three-win day over Seton Hall. 

 

2018-19: Took home a gold medal in the first Atlantic 10 Championships of his career, taking the top spot in the 200-fly with a time of 1:46.86... brought in a second medal in the 400-IM, swimming to a career-best time of 3:49.57 to take silver... also a finalist in the 200-IM, taking sixth with a time of 1:48.63.

2015-16: Only swam at the Charlie Batterman Relays (10/24) as a senior.

2014-15: All-American (200 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay) ... Honorable Mention All-American (50 Free, 200 Medley Relay) … NEWMAC first team All-Conference (100 Free, 200 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay) … at the NCAA Division III Championship (3/18-21), earned All-America accolades as the anchor of the fifth place finishing 200 Free Relay (1:33.36) and as the third swimmer in the seventh place finishing 400 Free Relay (3:25.63) … also individually finished 13th in the 50-free (23.65) and aided the 200 Medley Relay team to tenth (1:44.35) for Honorable Mention All-America honors at nationals … at the NEWMAC Championship (2/19-22), finished in first place in the 200 Free Relay (1:34.92), 100-free (51.95) and the 400 Free Relay (3:26.51 – a NEWMAC meet and open record) for a spot on the All-Conference First Team … also place third in the 50-free (24.09), 11th overall (first in the B-Final) in the 400 Medley Relay (3:56.40) and 12th overall in the 100-fly (59.51) at the conference championship … at the MIT Winter Invitational (12/5-7), earned first place with the 400 Medley Relay team (3:50.53), first place with the 400 Free Relay team (3:29.37), first place with the 200 Free Relay team (1:34.31), first place with the 200 Medley Relay team (1:45.66) and fourth place with the 800 Free Relay team (7:52.96) … individually at the invite, touched the wall second in the 50-free (23.85) and fourth in the 100-free (52.86) … swam five NCAA “B” cut times as a junior.

2013-14: All-American (200 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay) … Honorable Mention All-American (50 Free, 200 Medley Relay) … NEWMAC Relay of the Week (200 Free Relay: 12/9; 2000 Medley Relay: 1/27) … NEWMAC Swimmer of the Week (1/27) … NEWMAC first team All-Conference (200 Free Relay, 200 Medley Relay) … NEWMAC second team All-Conference (50 Free, 100 Free, 400 Free Relay) … against Springfield (11/9), she won the 50 free in 24.44 … at the MIT Winter Invitational (12/6-7), she was third in the 50 free with a 23.88, seventh in the 200 free in 1:59.79 and second in the 100 free with a time of 53.15 … at the NEWMAC Championships (2/20-23), she anchored the winning 200 free relay with its time of 1:35.59, was second in the 50 free in 24.11 and the 100 free with a 52.41, was 11th in the 200 free in 1:56.59 and was the freestyle leg of the 200 medley relay that was first with its time of 1:45.59 … at the NCAA Championships (3/19-22), she broke her own MIT record in the 50 free when she touched in 10th with a time of 23.34, was part of the 200 medley relay that was 16th in 1:46.11, the 200 free relay that took sixth in 1:33.67 and led off the 400 free relay that was also sixth with a time of 3:26.62.

2012-13: NEWMAC Swimmer of the Week (1/28) … NEWMAC First Team All-Conference (200 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay) … NEWMAC Second Team All-Conference (100 Free) … All-American (200 Medley Relay, 200 Free Relay) …won the 50 free at five different meets  … at the MIT Invite (11/30-12/03), she tied for first in the 50 free with an NCAA B cut time of 23.61, breaking the MIT record … at the NEWMAC Championships (2/15-17), she was part of the 200 Free Relay that touched in 1:33.46 and the 400 Free Relay with a 3:27.63, both of which came first with NEWMAC Meet records, NEWMAC Open records and MIT records … she was also part of the 400 Medley Relay that was 11th in 3:57.27 and the 200 Medley Relay that was 11th with a time of 1:47.36 … came third in the 50 free with a 23.86, was 22nd in the 100 fly with a time of 1:01.25 and was second in the 100 free with a B cut time of 51.90 … at the NCAA Championships (3/20-23), she was part of the 400 Free Relay that came 15th with a 3:29.75, after going 3:27.46 and breaking the MIT record at prelims … came fifth in the 200 Free Relay with a 1:34.15 … was 34th in the 100 free in 52.56 … finished 13th in the 50 free with a time 23.60, after going 23.52 at prelims, breaking her own MIT record.

She also holds several of her high school's swimming records. She currently holds 1 MIT record in the 50 Free and has qualified and finaled at NCAA D III National for 2013 and 2014.

Elizabeth - YMCA National Qualifier, YMCA District State Qualifier, PA State Qualifier and Mid-Atlantic Zone Team Qualifier... Holds records in 50 free, 100 Free, 100 IM, Long Course 50 Free and 200 Free. She also holds all of her high school's swimming records. She currently holds 3 LaSalle relay records.




Ian Walsh - Duquesne University

(Division 1) - 2006 PFY Graduate (Feature Articles) 


Ian swam with the Piranhas from the age of 9 years old through his senior year. Ian holds many PFY records and has attended YMCA Nationals 3 times. He has been ranked 1st at age 10, 4th at age 11, 2nd at age 11, 3rd at age 13, 5th at age 13 and 7th at age 14. He has also placed 1st at YMCA Districts at 10 years old and 1st at YMCA States at 10. Ian also was gold medallist at PIAA District 11 Championship meet as a Senior along with being a 2 time PIAA State Qualifier. 




Sarah Keeley - Drexel University

Sarah swam with the Piranhas from the age 4 through her senior year. She holds many PFY records and has attended YMCA Nationals 5 times. She has been ranked as high as 7th in the Nation in the YMCA Top 16. She has also placed 1st at YMCA Districts at 14 years old and 2nd at YMCA States at 15. Sarah also was gold medallist at PIAA District 11 Championship meet as a Freshman and also a Senior along with being a 3 time PIAA State Qualifier. 




Amanda Males - Wagner University

Amanda swam with the Piranhas from the age 9 up until her 10th grade year is high school and then returned for here senior year. She has attended YMCA Short Course and Long Course Nationals and holds several records for the Piranhas. Amanda also coaches our Summer Swim Team. 




Sean Connors-McBride - LaSalle University

Sean swam with the Piranhas from the age 11 until 15 when he then attend German Town Academy until graduation. After graduation Sean returned to the Piranhas to attend YMCa Long Course Nationals. Sean has attend YMCA Short Course Nationals 2 times and YMCA Long Course Nationals with places as high as 3rd in the 200 Fly, 13th in the 200 IM, 12th in the 100 Fly and 10th in the 400IM. Sean also helps coach our summer program as well as has been a guest coach at our Summer Swim Camp. 




T. J. Terzaken - American University 

(Division 1) - 1990 PFY Graduate 


T. J. swam with the Piranhas from the age 7 until he graduated Pocono Mountain East High School where he still holds several team records. He attend YMCA Short Course Nationals 3 times and held our 50 record for 14 years. At American University he achieved All American Status in the 200 Free Relay. T. J. was also the member of a relay that currently holds an all time top ten time in the 200 free relay, swam in 1995 for American University.
