The Pocono Family YMCA Swim Team participates in many different types of swimming competitions ranging from League meets, Invitational Meets to National Competitions. Below is the different types of meets we not only participates in but also host. 

Winter Swim Team - Regular Winter season is October - the end of February. League Meets are held on mostly Saturdays. 

Penn Del League Meets - PFY Swim Team is a member of the Penn Del YMCA Swim League. The girls and boys teams are in the B North Division of the Penn Del League. There is between 5-6 league meets for each the boys and the girls team with a championship meet at the end of the regular season.

YMCA Sanctioned Meets - PFY Swim Team sends swimmers who qualify to PA East Districts, PA States and YMCA Short Course Nationals. Swimmers are required to Full YMCA Members, Winter Team Members and make at least the qualifying standard for each event in these meets.

All Pocono Family YMCA Swimmers must register for each winter team Penn Del League meet at least the Wednesday before each meet. To register (click here) 

Away Penn Del Meet Directions - Directions to the pools of our away meets. All home meets are held at the Lehman Intermediate School Pool. 

USA Swimming Program - PFY Swim Team is a member of the Middle Atlantic LSC of USA Swimming. PFY Swimmers can participate in USA Sanctioned Meets if they join our USA Swimming Program. Meets are held generally on weekends and there are at time qualifying standards. All USA Swimming meets are Invitational Format Meets where all swimmer may choose their events there is a per event fee. PFY Hosted Meets - Meets that the PFY Swim Team invites other teams to swim in. These meets are OPEN to any swimmer who wishes to participate in as well as any swimmer in one of the PFY Swim Team Programs such as Competitive or Pre-Competitive Swim Teams. All Meets that are recommended are posted on our Team Meet Schedule. 

Invitational Meets - Meets that other teams invite the PFY Swim Team to swim in. These meets are OPEN to any swimmer who wishes to participate in as well as any swimmer in one of the PFY Swim Team Programs such as Competitive or Pre-Competitive Swim Teams. All Meets that are recommended are posted on our Team Meet Schedule. All swimmer that wish to swim in any Invitational Meet must sign up online (click here) to sign up.

Summer Swim League Meets - The PFY Swim Team is a member of the Pocono Summer Swim League. League meets are limited to our Summer Competitive Swim Team. Summer Swim Team season is from the 2nd week in June until the first weekend of August. (Meet Schedule). All Summer League meets require that swimmers "Register" for them. To "Register" (Click Here)

Local High School Meet Schedules - With over 85% of our swimmers going on to swim in local high school programs the Pocono Family YMCA Swim Team is a strong supporter of local high swimming programs.
